  • ‍I am a food lover and in my free time, you can find me travelling and discovering new places, tastes, learning new things or petting my two furry friends.

Living in Dublin since 2015 and originally from Spain, I bring a unique blend of experiences to the design world. Don't give up, stick with it' is my mantra, a philosophy that extends from life to my work. I firmly believe that determination is the key to achieving any goal.

My career journey has been a diverse one, spanning roles in design, web management, content creation, and social media. However, after several years, I felt a calling for a more user-centered approach in my work. This led me to make the transition to UX/UI design, where I've discovered the perfect outlet for my skills—research, design, empathy, adaptability, and creativity.

Being innately curious, I'm a lifelong learner, always seeking to expand my knowledge. At Spark, I gather key insights through data, research, and user analysis. I collaborate with product and engineering teams to bring ideas to life and design user-focused interfaces. It's an exciting journey, and I can't wait to see where it leads next.

During our time working together, Aida consistently demonstrated dedication to her work. She enthusiastically took on new challenges and managed to weave her way through the often grey and opinionated area of design.

I worked with Aida on several occasions at Spark. She was UI and UX on a AI project where I was data scientist that included image processing, recommendation and an extensive interface for human review. I also worked with her regularly to create AI related content for sales, marketing and conferences. Aida is a pleasure to work with and the projects final results visibly benefit from her input. 
Data science regularly include communication and presentation toward all technical levels and I was happy to be able to bounce ideas with her and get feedback around narratives.

How I work

In newly started projects, my user-centric approach involves structured processes which help define the project scope in close collaboration with stakeholders and the team. For me, research involves user studies and competitive analysis, run by empathy and a keen eye for detail. Miro and FigJam are the tools I use to facilitate inclusive workshops during this stage.

In the design phase, Figma supports wireframing and prototyping, while testing and feedback are prioritised in order to create user-beneficial designs. Measurability is key, with clear metrics aligned to client business goals for data-driven effectiveness. Transparent communication maintains a collaborative atmosphere and addresses stakeholders' concerns.



I understand that every project is different, and for each, I adapt my process: completing existing designs where necessary or initiating research and ideation to inform new ventures. Furthermore, I advocate for a flexible iterative handover to development, as for me this is basic to get delivered user-centered designs.
